Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Security Officer for St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL to provide safety and security, respond to emergencies, and assist patients, visitors, and colleagues in a hospital setting.

You will patrol areas, enforce rules, and coordinate responses with care and professionalism. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of security experience, and a valid driver’s license; an associate degree or OC certification is a plus.

The ideal candidate will provide safety and security services to ensure the well-being of both people and property by patrolling assigned areas and enforcing rules and regulations. The Security Officer responds to all in-building emergency requests and alarms and provides assistance and coordination. HSHS Security Officers are often the first or last person our patients, visitors and colleagues encounter in our facilities.
