Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to de-escalate anxious or stressed individuals and manage aggression.
• Experience in hospital security or police, emergency medical or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas, focusing on security concerns to prevent theft, injuries or damages.
• Identify unsafe conditions and unsecured areas to safeguard patients, visitors and staff.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters and document incidents.
• Investigate thefts and potential criminal misconduct; coordinate with law enforcement as needed; assist in court proceedings.
• Prepare and submit complete, accurate incident reports and maintain logs; inform supervisors.
