Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CT Security Officer ID, a valid CT driver’s license, and strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates good judgment and flexibility in changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Patrol hospital areas to prevent fires, thefts, vandalism, and security breaches.
• Check for unauthorized persons and direct people on parking.
• Report hazards and incidents; document occurrences per department policy.
• Maintain visibility throughout the hospital and assist with escorts as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and support clinical staff during behavioral incidents.
