Allied Universal in Greenville, SC is seeking a Security Officer Hospital – Badge Access to protect patients, visitors, and staff within a healthcare setting. You will perform access control, patrols, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

This full-time, hourly role requires a valid driver\'s license, vaccination compliance, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. You will complete clear incident reports and coordinate with hospital teams to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license in the state of the job.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site-specific procedures for access control and reporting unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with site personnel, patients, and visitors.
