Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a Security Officer for the Burlington Hospital (218 A Sunset Rd) on the 1st shift, per diem. You will safeguard property, assist staff and visitors, and conduct weapon screening at entrances using EVOLV systems.

A driver’s license and basic security experience are needed, with SORA preferred. Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident reporting, and coordinating with supervisors and law enforcement as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• NJ SORA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard, patrol, and monitor buildings, grounds, and property.
• Assist visitors, patients, vendors, and staff with hospitality and directions.
• Conduct weapon screening at public entrances with approved technology.
• Monitor alarms and security cameras; document incidents and shift logs.
• Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement when needed.
