AdventHealth in Lake Wales, FL is seeking a full-time front desk/guest services team member. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff, screen entrants, and issue visitor credentials to ensure a safe, supportive environment.

The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to follow procedures, and basic computer literacy. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow procedures.
• Active listening and clear communication.
• Ability to safely operate basic hospital applications and information systems.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; other languages listed as options.

Responsibilities

• Greets all patients, visitors, and employees entering the facility.
• Screens entrants per organizational protocols.
• Creates and issues visitor badges.
• Anticipates customer needs and resolves issues.
• Monitors environment and reports safety concerns.
• Assists during emergencies (fire, disasters, health events).
• Upholds visitation guidelines and procedures.
• Uses computers to assist guests and staff and access information.
• Maintains up-to-date main hospital contact numbers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
