Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Martin Health, a 100-bed facility in Stuart, FL, as a Communications Officer in the CRP Command Center. You will process incoming/outgoing communications, monitor surveillance equipment, and coordinate with dispatched responders in a fast-paced hospital security setting.

This role involves weekend coverage and varied shifts, working closely with caregivers and clinical staff. Opportunity to move into other department roles within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a high-volume communications center, PBX operator or a public/private security agency.
• OR an Associate’s Degree, Public Safety Dispatching certificate or equivalent training plus one year of experience.
• OR a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to security/police calls and emergency calls.
• Monitor and respond to alarm signals across multiple platforms.
• Transmit security communications and manage data requests for employees, patients and the public.
• Disseminate alerts to internal stakeholders during crises.
• Perform clerical functions in the Security Operations Center.

Education
