Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Hospital Behavioral Response in Corpus Christi, TX. You will patrol, monitor access, and deliver patient- and staff-focused security with professional communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access-control procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observed conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
