Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a food service team member for onsite duties at 267 Charles Street. You will set up serving stations, prepare a range of menu items, stock supplies, and ensure food safety and quality for patients, visitors, and staff.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of food service experience, can read and follow instructions, and work well in a fast-paced hospital setting with strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-3 years of food service experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up food service areas, equipment, and serving stations.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold foods, beverages, salads, sandwiches, and other menu items.
• Stock and replenish food, supplies, utensils, and condiments.
• Transport food and supplies between preparation and service areas.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Monitor food quality and report equipment or supply issues.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and service ware.
• Assist with dishwashing, waste disposal, and general housekeeping duties.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
