Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks security professionals to safeguard patients, staff and facilities across multiple locations in the Chicago area. This role involves patrolling grounds, directing traffic, and responding to incidents with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and experience in customer-focused security or law enforcement. CPI or IAHSs credentials are preferred; training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with relevant healthcare or security exposure.
• Experience in customer service and safety operations preferred.
• Certification in CPR and CPI or equivalent is expected within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Patrol facilities and grounds on foot or by vehicle per schedule.
• Report incidents and assist police during investigations when needed.
• Provide directions and escort to patients and visitors as required.
• Direct vehicle traffic to maintain clear access around hospital sites.
• Physically restrain individuals when necessary and involve authorities.
• Protect valuables and monitor lost-and-found processes.
• Inspect doors, windows, alarms, and safety equipment; report issues.
