Huron-Regional-Medical-Center is seeking a Purchasing Agent/Buyer to manage supply orders, prepare Purchase Orders, and coordinate with vendors under the supervision of the Director of Materials Management.

The role ensures stock levels are maintained, invoices are matched to POs, and items are delivered and paid for promptly. The position supports hospital operations in a full-time capacity.

Qualifikationen

• Prefer at least one year post high school education in secretarial or related studies.
• Prefer at least 2 years' experience as Hospital Buyer.
• Visual, auditory, and speech acuity requisite to verbal and written communication with hospital staff and vendor representatives.

Aufgaben

• Process purchase orders and track orders to delivery.
• Obtain prices, quotes, and other product information from vendors.
• Maintain perpetual inventory and ensure stock levels meet usage.
• Match invoices to purchase orders in Cerner and coordinate payments.
• Coordinate returns and replacement of defective items with vendors.
• Organize storeroom and assist in department operations.
• Assist in requisition processing and staff liaison as needed.
