Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Public Safety Officer at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This full-time role involves day shifts from 6am to 6:30pm, including weekend rotation, within a busy healthcare environment.

You will perform patrols, assist patients and visitors, and maintain safety and security across hospital facilities. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of customer-focused service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a customer-focused service-based organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide unarmed uniformed security/safety services under general supervision.
• Patrol facilities and grounds on foot or by vehicle and investigate incidents.
• Report thefts, vandalism, or other losses and involve police when needed.
• Respond promptly to service calls with safety, professionalism, and courtesy.
• Guide patients and visitors, provide directions, and escort when possible.
• Control traffic around hospital facilities and manage parking and loading zones.
