The hospital privilege coordinator position tracks applications from providers to medical staff offices and assists in the verification processes required by hospitals where the provider must be privileged. This is done in accordance with CHG Healthcare Services corporate credentialing and privileging policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesArrange hospital privileges and credentialing for providers according to client(s) medical staff rules and regulations or bylawsAssist clients in getting all documents needed to process the hospital privilege/credentialing application including verifications of education, work experience and references prior to the start of an assignmentCoordinate with recruiters, provider representatives and candidates to obtain client’s required documentationResponsible for completing all credentialing necessary to privilege providers at worksitesCommunicate with sales staff on the status and outcome of provider applicationsProvide direct support when necessary to the Credentialing Manager and other credentialing specialists Display a sense of urgency while remaining organized and paying attention to detailWork on multiple tasks simultaneouslyProcess a large amount of documentation in a timely and professional mannerPrioritize and organize tasks effectively and independentlyQualificationsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and web based applicationsMake decisions with the best interests of our people in mindParticipate and share our point of view in an open, honest, respectful mannerStrong problem solving and decision-making skills in a faced paced team environmentProfessional written and verbal communication skillsProven time management and prioritization skillsAbility to meet numerous important deadlinesStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and proven accuracy with record keepingAbility to work independently2 years work experience in an administrative and/or customer service positionWork experience in the healthcare or staffing industriesWorking knowledge of healthcare terminologyWe believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $49,920 - $72,592 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience.
