Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking aPresident to provide comprehensive operational leadership for the entity, translating system goals into localized plans and driving financial and clinical performance in the Puget Sound region.

You will lead teams, manage budgets, and oversee facilities while reporting to senior system executives. Strong communication and community engagement are essential to align with our mission of humankindness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field.
• Seven years of management-level experience.
• Three years of progressively responsible management experience overseeing multiple service lines and hospital operations.
• Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, marketing, healthcare administration, standards and regulations, strategic planning, budgeting, financial administration, continuum of care integration and patient care delivery systems.
• Driver's License: WA, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and evaluates daily operations of the assigned hospital and collaborates with the leadership team.
• Ensures affordable, high-quality care by effectively utilizing resources and monitoring quality of care.
• Oversees administrative management and leadership for designated service lines and participates in policy decisions.
• Manages facility budgets, productivity metrics and internal controls, guiding corrective action plans as needed.
• Leads change initiatives and maintains strong communication with stakeholders and medical staff.
• Provides administrative support to managers for staffing, facilities, equipment and supplies; discusses improvements with senior leaders.
