Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of the Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Academy (OPOTA).
• Valid Ohio driver's license.
• OPOTA certification is required.
• BLS certification required within six months of hire.
• Non-violent crisis intervention training within six months of hire.
• Firearms qualification (bi-annual).
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass fitness for duty.
