Qualifications

• Current OPOTA certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within six months of hire).
• Non-violent crisis intervention training (required within six months of hire).
• Firearms qualification (must pass bi-annual qualifications).
• Must be at least 21 years of age and pass fitness for duty exam per Ohio Revised Code § 124.41.
