Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Plant Operator I to support the hospital's physical plant and facilities teams. You will assist in construction, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Under engineering leadership, you will assess, prioritize, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, and lead a team in operation and installation of general building components and equipment. A valid license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Two years of experience in Plant Operations required.
• Valid state driver’s license and high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the physical plant team in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of general building components and equipment.
• Assess, prioritize, troubleshoot, and repair facility components in compliance with regulations and hospital policies.
