Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, read schematics and/or blueprints as part of maintenance tasks.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Certified/licensed trade relevant to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, medical gas, and other systems.
• Respond quickly to emergency repair requests to restore hospital operations.
• Inspect and test critical safety systems (backup generators, fire alarms, emergency lighting) for functionality and safety compliance.
• Assist with hospital renovation and construction projects; coordinate work with contractors.
