Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, or HVAC.
• Experience or license in one or more of the above areas.
• Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Computer energy management systems knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex plumbing, electrical repair, steam fitting and general maintenance.
• Service equipment by lubricating, cleaning, replacing parts and making adjustments.
• Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on central plant equipment and emergency generators.
• Utilize infection control policies and ensure safe patient environments.
• Communicate professionally with patients, staff and visitors; document reports.
