Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Regular full-time Plant Operations & Maintenance technician for the Evening Shift.

The role operates and maintains heating, boilers and power plant equipment, performing preventive maintenance and repairs per defined procedures. You will inspect, repair and upgrade mechanical systems, including water/steam lines, pumps, and HVAC components, while maintaining documentation and complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Two years' experience in plant operations or maintenance.
• State licenses: Boiler Operator (OK) and Mechanical Contractor or Journeyman (OK) required.

Responsibilities

• Operates and performs repairs and preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems, boilers and power plant equipment.
• Monitors equipment and performs preventive maintenance per policy and records.
• Repairs water/steam lines and installs new lines; performs water/air balancing and maintains pumps, compressors, and heating systems.
• Cleans and repairs controls, valves, heat exchangers, motors and vacuum pumps.
• Maintains building automation components and adjusts control strategies as needed.
• Conducts rounds to check equipment and performs troubleshooting as required.
• Performs maintenance welding, soldering and brazing as needed.
