Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories / Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect and process specimens across hospital facilities, patient service centers, in-office sites or mobile services in the Sun City area.

Responsibilities include patient identification, entry of demographics and test requests, preparation and labeling of specimens, and delivery to the appropriate analytical area. Flexibility to cover multiple locations and shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or equivalent experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Valid state drivers license where employed and eligible for company auto policy.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations and work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.
• Minimum age 18 and high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection and proper labeling.
• Enter and verify patient demographics and test orders.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and assist in processing.
• Ensure accuracy and maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and professional conduct.
