Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist Representative I - Hospital in Hackensack, NJ. This role works in a hospital setting at HUMC, with a rotating schedule and hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay range is $22.80 - $24.45 per hour, with potential annual performance bonus. The position emphasizes accurate blood collection, patient communication, and adherence to safety and privacy requirements in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Accurately label and process specimens according to lab protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Data entry and processing of specimens including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as required.
• Rotate through inpatient, outpatient, physicians' offices, and ED settings as scheduled.
• Assist with training new staff or students as needed.
