Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist Representative I for the Perth Amboy, NJ hospital site. You will perform venipuncture and capillary draws, label and process specimens, and maintain clean phlebotomy carts in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Hospitals require clear communication with patients and staff; a HS diploma is required, with phlebotomy skills and flexibility for weekends/on-call. On-site role with potential shift differentials and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficient phlebotomy skills including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Accurately label and process specimens per lab protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Data entry and processing of specimens (labeling, centrifuging, splitting, freezing).
• Complete required training and adhere to QA and safety manuals.
