Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist Representative I - Hospital in Portland, ME. The role requires accurate venipuncture, patient interaction, and adherence to safety and privacy protocols in a fast-paced hospital environment.

This hospital-based position offers a competitive hourly pay range and opportunities for annual bonus based on performance, with benefits described by the employer. Schedule is typically Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 15:30.

Competenze

• Proficient phlebotomy skills including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Mansioni

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Label and process specimens according to lab protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Assist with data entry and test ordering as needed.
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
• Rotate through inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings as scheduled.
• Train new staff or students as needed.
