Qualifications

• Proficient phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexible schedule with weekdays, weekends and on-call as needed.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Label and process specimens accurately following lab protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Data entry and processing of specimens per test orders.
• Respond to phones and assist with clerical duties when required.
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies at all times.
• Rotate through inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings as scheduled.
