Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist Representative I - Hospital in Bangor, ME. This hospital-based role involves drawing blood, labeling specimens and ensuring patient comfort in a fast-paced setting.

You will perform venipuncture across age groups, maintain accurate records, and follow safety and privacy guidelines. A High School diploma and phlebotomy skills are required, with certification preferred in certain states.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in certain states.
• English proficiency with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Label and process specimens per laboratory protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Data entry and processing of specimens including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as required by test order.
• Assist with training new staff or students as needed.
