Job summary

CompleteRx is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for an on-site hospital setting in Texas. The role supports procurement, dispensing, sterile compounding, and delivery of medications across patient care areas.

The position may be part-time (3 days/week) or full-time (4 days/week), with hours typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hospital is closed evenings and weekends. Training and certification requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
• Possess current pharmacy technician registration in the State of Texas.
• Possess current National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Possess I.V. Certification or willing to obtain it within six months of your hire date.
• Successful completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training course is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procures and distributes drug orders.
• Identifies and fills replacement meds on crash carts, OR carts, and floor stock.
• Prepares sterile products (chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition).
• Delivers meds and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas.
• Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date.
• Picks up orders and meds for return during rounds.
• Enters charges and credits for patient medications.
• Replaces outdated and unusable drugs.
