Job summary

CAPS, part of the B. Braun Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support sterile IV compounding in Houston on a 7 on/7 off, onsite schedule. You’ll prepare sterile products under a licensed pharmacist, maintain cleanroom procedures, and ensure quality records.

Required: TX Pharmacy Technician license, national certification (PTCB or NHA ExCPT), IV certification, and HS diploma. The role offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the TX Board of Pharmacy.
• National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
• IV Certification through an ACPE program.
• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.

Education
