Job summary

Cardinal Health manages the pharmacy at PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Centennial Hills and is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to assist during facility hours. The Technician II supports daily operations, prints and fills prescriptions, handles inventory, and ensures pharmacist review and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Nevada State Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) required.
• In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Pharmacist as needed, permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Inputs patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system.
• Takes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from inventory.
• Communicates with customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Maintains knowledge of and abides by all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
