Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmacy services at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of South Point. The technician will assist the Pharmacist, process prescriptions, and manage inventory to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, Ohio pharmacy technician license or ability to obtain, and national certification. Inpatient hospital experience and Pyxis familiarity are preferred, with strong communication and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ohio State Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain license.
• National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA) required.
• In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV compounding experience preferred.
• Pharmacy buying/purchasing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist as needed, under supervision.
• Input patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Take inventory, place orders, stock shelves and remove expired items.
• Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy and comply with regulations.
• Communicate with customers professionally to ensure timely orders.
