The role supports daily operations, ensures timely order fulfillment, and collaborates with pharmacists to maintain compliance and service quality.

The position involves a rotating schedule, weekend work, and responsibilities including prescription preparation, inventory, and data entry in a hospital

Qualifications

• Indiana license or training is required or willingness to obtain.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV compounding experience preferred.
• Flexibility in working schedule.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and focus.
• Familiarity with pharmacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescription orders.
• Prepare medication for dispensing, packaging and shipment.
• Take inventory, place orders, check in drugs and supplies.
• Enter patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Communicate with customers (patients, clinics, caregivers, physicians) professionally.
• Process returned medications for credit or destruction.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
