Cardinal Health manages the pharmacy at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle, IN, and is recruiting a full-time Pharmacy Technician. The role supports pharmacists in filling prescriptions and prepares medications for dispensing. Expect a rotating schedule and weekend work.

Qualifications include Indiana licensure or in-training certification, PTCB preferred, and hospital/IV experience preferred. Benefits are provided and on-site care hours are 7am–7pm weekdays and 7am–4pm weekends.

Qualifications

• IV medication handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescription orders.
• Prepare medication for dispensing, packaging and shipment.
• Manage inventory and stock shelves; remove expired items.
• Enter patient data and prescription information into system.
• Communicate with patients, clinics and physicians professionally.
• Process returned medications for credit or destruction.
