Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree desirable.
• Successful completion of pharmacy technician training preferred or equivalent.
• Current registration/licensure as Pharmacy Technician in state of employment; PTCB certification preferred or within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Distribute, prepare, label, and deliver medications to patient care units.
• Manage inventory to prevent stockouts and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Support pharmacist with aseptic technique and safe handling of medications.
• Document medication movements and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
