Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensure as a pharmacist or temporary Michigan licensure with full licensure within 12 months is preferred.
• Pharmacy technician training and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package and label IV and unit-dose medications under supervision.
• Deliver floor stock medications, patient-specific meds, and crash cart supplies to care areas.
• Collect and return orders and manage medication processing and charges as needed.
• Answer inquiries from hospital staff and provide information on medication orders.
