Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team under a pharmacist's supervision. The role involves order review, preparation, delivery and charging of medications and IVs, as well as restocking ADC cabinets and par medications/IVs.

Responsibilities include purchasing, repackaging, training new staff, and performing related duties as assigned in a hospital setting. A valid Pharmacy Technician license and IV therapy experience are required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• IV therapy experience required.
• ACPE credit required.
• 1+ year hospital pharmacy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review and enter orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare, deliver, and charge medications/IVs.
• Restock ADC cabinets and par medications/IVs.
• Handle purchasing, repackaging, and related duties.
• Train new personnel and perform other duties as assigned.
