Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in preparation and filling of medications for inpatient and outpatient services. The role supports daily workflow and ensures availability of medications and tools for clinical teams.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, 2 years hospital pharmacy technician experience, and 1 year sterile compounding experience. Certification and state registration are required upon hire.

Qualifications

Must have valid CPhT certification and be a registered pharmacy technician.
Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy technician experience and 1 year sterile compounding experience.
Strong knowledge of metric system conversions and calculations; passing score on related exams.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparation and filling of medications for inpatient and outpatient services.
Replenish Pyxis machines and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
Count, compound, and repack pharmaceuticals using established procedures.
Dispense medications and restock inventory; ensure proper documentation of waste.
