Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
• Basic understanding of the role of and use of computers in processing prescription orders.
• Current PTCB certification or equivalent certification/training program required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication.
• Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to patients.
• Prepares intravenous (IV) packs and generates required reports.
