Qualifications

• Minimum of six months previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Register as Pharmacy Technician in PA/NJ (as applicable) within required time frames.

Responsibilities

• Fills medications and IV orders from computer-generated labels and updates patient cassettes.
• Delivers medications to patient care areas and houses stock portions.
• Maintains controlled substance inventories, completes necessary documentation and inspections.
• Performs parenteral admixtures, including labeling, restocking and compounding under pharmacist supervision.
