Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ExCPT or PTCB certification and state registration required.
• Experience in Rx processing and hospital/retail settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in preparation of medications for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Enter and retrieve information in EHR; ensure accurate billing.
• Prepare labels; stock drugs; count and pour for dispensing.
• Stock automated dispensing cabinets and transport meds to off-site locations.
• Support education and precepting of new technicians; participate in QA.
