Mercy Health in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in inpatient and outpatient settings at St. Vincent Medical Center.

The role involves processing medication orders, labeling, stocking, and ensuring accurate medication preparation for patients in acute care and ambulatory settings. ExCPT or PTCB certification with state registration is required, along with a high school diploma or GED and an approved tech training program.

Competenze

• ExCPT Certification provided by NHA or PTCB certification and registration with State Board of Pharmacy.
• Valid state driver's license.

Mansioni

• Assist the pharmacist in preparation of medications for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Enter information into electronic health record or prescription processing system; ensure correct billing.
• Prepare and affix labels; stock drugs, count and pour into containers for dispensing.
• Operate robotics and automated dispensing cabinets; transport meds to off-site locations.
• Accept verbal refill authorizations for non-controlled drugs as allowed by state law; support education of new technicians.
• Assist in training/mentoring new staff; support performance improvement activities.
