Job summary

Mass General Brigham is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy department under supervision. Responsibilities include dosage calculations, preparation of medications, stocking, and distribution of outpatient prescriptions, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required.
Board Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB CPhT or NHA ExCPT) preferred.
1–2 years hospital experience desired.

Responsibilities

Perform dosage calculations to prepare extemporaneous dosage forms under supervision.
Adhere to safety requirements for handling non-hazardous medications.
May prepare sterile products and distribute controlled substances.
Assist with training Pharmacy Technician Trainees.
Understand pharmacy practice regulations and proper drug handling.
