Job summary

The successful candidate will perform dosage calculations under pharmacist supervision, assist in technician training, and contribute to a sterile-compounding environment while gaining exposure to robotics and automated systems

Qualifications

• Perform intermediate mathematical calculations associated with preparing non-sterile, extemporaneously manufactured pharmaceutical products and other medication doses.
• Read, interpret, and follow complex verbal and written instructions to prepare medications accurately in a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow established policies and procedures to prepare unit-dose medications, outpatient prescriptions, and stock orders.
• Assist with training of Pharmacy Technician Trainees and support pharmacy operations.
• Adhere to safety requirements for handling medications and comply with state and federal regulations.
