Qualifikationen

• Current valid NY State Registered Pharmacy Technician license and registration.
• Current valid Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Health career Association (NHA) Pharmacy Technician certification.
• 1+ year hospital Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Experience in sterile compounding.

Aufgaben

• Batch-manufacture parenteral solutions using aseptic technique.
• Prepare sterile products for dispensing to patients of the facility.
• Assist in compounding oral dosage forms for patients.
• Deliver medication to patient care areas.
• Restock dispensing areas and automated cabinets, including controlled drugs.
• Receive drug shipments and maintain inventory levels, check for outdates.
• Complete patient care unit inspections and repack medications.
• Assist in labeling medications for dispensing and handle intake calls.
• Assist at the dispensing window and process invoices.
