Tenet Healthcare's DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead the pharmacy technician team, oversee daily operations, and partner with pharmacists and clinical staff to deliver safe, efficient patient-centered services.

The role emphasizes staff development, process improvement, and accountability in a fast-paced hospital setting, with a focus on collaboration across departments to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration as required by the State of Michigan.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred or required based on organizational standards.
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct day-to-day leadership and supervision of pharmacy technicians.
• Coordinate technician assignments based on patient care needs and priorities.
• Monitor workflow and adjust assignments as needed.
• Assist with technician scheduling, PTO management, and shift coverage.
• Ensure medications are prepared, delivered, and stocked within scope of practice.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and develop sustainable solutions.
