The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (or an associate degree in a science-related field) and be a licensed DC Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in science-related field and 1 year hospital Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• 2 years hospital experience preferred.
• Fluent English; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) registered in DC required.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill medication orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain inventory; coordinate purchasing and invoicing.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Assist with IV preparation and related pharmacy tasks.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state/federal laws.
