Qualifications

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure.
• Strong math skills with calculator and attention to accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Identifies medications and other items for reorder to maintain inventory.
• Manages users in the automated dispensing technology database and troubleshoots issues.
• Exhibits strong customer service in all contacts with patients, visitors and staff.
• May restock automated dispensing technology after pharmacist check and training.
• Compounds non-sterile medications and documents per policy; follows USP guidelines.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and performs required inspections and logs.
• Handles narcotics per policy and regulatory requirements with proper documentation.
• Performs IV compounding labeling and maintains sterile technique per site policy.
