Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician in the Omaha area to support long-term care facilities. The role requires driving within Nebraska, reliable transportation, and experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) plus data entry.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of pharmacy experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot ADS problems. This is a full-time position with day shift hours in a pharmacy/office environment.

Qualifications

Must be local to the Omaha area.
Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
A valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
Reliable transportation required.
Willing to drive long distances in the State of Nebraska.
Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
Able to use various programs and applications efficiently, and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
Maintain active communication with the client facility and pharmacy staff.
Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
Replace potentially expiring inventory.
Restock depleted inventory.
Monthly audits (cycle count).
Provide reports for the facility.
Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
