Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school education or equivalent.
• Preferred: Completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.
• Minimum: Fully licensed as a pharmacy technician in the State of Michigan.
• Limited Licensure acceptable for currently employed technicians.
• Minimum: One year of pharmacy work experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and math calculations.
• Familiarity with standard desktop/windows systems including email/e-learning.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Pharmacist, assists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory and patient records.
• Provides courteous, cooperative, and timely service to patients, visitors and staff.
