Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time day shift at King of Prussia, PA.

The role supports inpatient and outpatient services by preparing and filling medications, stocking Pyxis, and assisting the Pharmacy Manager and staff pharmacists. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) and PA registration (RPT) on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 2 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• 1 year of sterile compounding experience.
• CPhT and RPT required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in line with Jefferson values.
• Prepares drug orders from Physicians for review and dispensing by a Registered Pharmacist.
• Replenishes Pyxis machines and monitors refrigerator temperatures; documents actions.
• Counts, compounds and repackages pharmaceuticals per established procedures.
• Dispenses medications and manages inventory across patient areas and nursing units.
