Jefferson Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation and filling of medications for inpatient and outpatient services.
The position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and operates under the direct supervision of staff pharmacists.
Lift and carry 40‑50 lbs. Frequently push or pull patients on a bed or stretcher, requiring a 29‑lb push force. Perform lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient’s weight. Stand, walk, and walk 8‑10 miles per shift. Kneel, bend, squat, and perform CPR as required for patient care providers.
